PR New York City
Stephanie Cain, a seasoned newspaper journalist with more than 10 years’ experience covering crime, law enforcement and litigation, crafts strategic media opportunities for clients seeking the right exposure at the right time.
Stephanie has worked as a staff writer for the San Gabriel Valley Tribune, the Pasadena Star-News and the Glendale News-Press. In 1997, she led the newspaper’s coverage of the first fatal shooting of a Glendale police officer in more than 75 years, for which the newspaper won a California Newspaper Publisher’s Association award.
She later spent nine months covering the U.S. Marines for the Gannett Corporation-owned Marine Corps Times, including two weeks in post-war Kosovo with a Marine Expeditionary Unit. Stephanie also spent two years as deputy news editor for online coverage of the same company’s Defense News.
Stephanie was born with journalism in her blood. Her father, Bob Cain, was a news anchor for CNN for more than 20 years and, earlier in his career, was a prominent radio news anchor with NBC Radio out of iconic Rockefeller Center.
Stephanie is based in her hometown of New York City, where she occasionally runs big road races and also works as an EMT.
