Crisis Management, Media Relations La Quinta, California
Mika Moulton brings an inimitable level of understanding, insight, ability and dedication to Cavalry PR clients trying to navigate adverse or catastrophic situations.
Mika’s work in helping families in crisis began in 1995 when her 10-year-old son, Christopher, was abducted and brutally murdered by a repeat offender. She quickly realized that there were no immediate resources to help parents and family members maneuver through catastrophic situations.
Mika then founded Christopher’s Clubhouse, a nonprofit organization that teaches safety and crime prevention to children, families, teens and women. She is also the Co-Founder and Past President of the Surviving Parents Coalition, and a member of Team HOPE, providing peer support to families of missing children through the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.
Mika is also a Department of Justice contractor, training law enforcement in how to work with families of the missing.
As part of her efforts to protect children, prevent crimes against them and safely recover missing children, she also has given speeches across the country, lobbied for changes in legislation, and appeared on national and local television and radio shows.
