Beth Karas draws upon her two decades of experience as a nationally renowned TV journalist and legal analyst to guide news figures, legal clients, and other Cavalry PR clients in all matters of public relations, media relations and crisis management.
For eight years, Beth cut her teeth as a prosecutor in the Manhattan DA’s office under legal icon Robert Morgenthau.
In 1994, Beth joined Court TV on the third anniversary of the network’s launch. For the next 19 years, she honed her reporting skills as she covered high- and low-profile criminal trials around the country, from Casey Anthony to Jerry Sandusky, from Scott Peterson to Jodi Arias. She regularly contributed to HLN and CNN while at Court TV/In Session on truTV.
In October 2014, Beth founded the online subscription site Karas On Crime to cover the Jodi Arias penalty phase retrial in Phoenix, Ariz. The site has been well received by her fans, who continue to subscribe to the monthly service.
